BOISE, Idaho — The Boise Police Department (BPD) will expand its jurisdiction to all of Ada County on Tuesday during fallen Ada County Sheriff's Office (ACSO) Deputy Tobin Bolter's memorial service, according to BPD.

Services are expected to begin at 12:30 p.m. with a procession departing from Eagle and conclude at approximately 6 p.m. at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa.

The 27-year-old deputy died April 21 after he was shot during a traffic stop in Boise. Several organizations, law enforcement agencies and community members have honored Bolter with local candlelight vigils, memorials and fundraisers since his passing.

ACSO said it anticipates "hundreds and hundreds of marked units from all over" to participate in the procession.
