Dill-lightful: New indoor S2 Pickleball gym opens in Boise

Players may relish this gym in southeast Boise, it boasts nine courts, golf simulators, snacks and recovery therapy.

BOISE, Idaho — Not gherkin your chain – S2 Pickleball Gym has opened in southeast Boise. The first-of-its kind in the city, the indoor gym has nine courts, smoothies and acai bowls, golf simulators and recovery therapy. The facility is big enough to hold tournaments and it's for newcomers and serious players alike.

"We're thrilled to bring this dedicated pickleball space to Boise. Our aim is to create a welcoming environment where players can come together, improve their skills, and foster the growth of this fantastic sport," said Zach Spencer, co-founder and owner. "Whether you're a seasoned player or brand new to pickleball, there's something here for everyone."

The gym's grand opening is Friday, Feb. 23 at 3 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 24. It's located at 3615 S. Federal Way and hours are from 5 a.m. to midnight. People can reserve space, join in open play, reserve for private events, drop in play, take private lessons and buy monthly passes. People can learn more about the gym at s2pickleball.com

"We're an up-and-coming Indoor pickleball gym bursting onto the scene in Utah, Idaho and Colorado. We're all about the experience - from easy to access courts, clinics and lessons, to golf simulators and recovery services. S2 has something for every pickleball lover," the website states.
