Update: Woman sexually assaulted in Caldwell, police looking for suspect who may be armed

Caldwell Police said they have not found the suspect but have ruled out he was driving a white GMC Denali.

CALDWELL, Idaho — A woman was sexually assaulted in her home by an unknown man in Caldwell and the suspect has not been found. According to the Caldwell Police Department (CPD), the assault happened Sunday, Feb. 4 around 7 p.m. around the area of Middleton Road and Highway 20/26. Police said the suspect could be armed and should be considered dangerous.

“I am extremely disturbed by this heinous attack and my heart breaks for our victim. I know that our amazing officers, who are absolutely the best in the industry, will chase every lead and they will ensure the monster responsible for this savage act is brought to justice.” said Rex Ingram, Caldwell Chief of Police.

Anyone with information, or if anyone sees this car, should call Canyon County non-emergency dispatch at 208-454-7531 or Idaho Crime Stoppers at 208-343-COPS.

CPD also wanted to remind people not to approach any suspect or suspects vehicle, but to alert law enforcement immediately.
