Update: Caldwell police find missing teen

Police said the "endangered" 17-year-old first reported missing on Wednesday, was found safely, and thanked the public for their help in the search.

BOISE, Idaho — At 2:55 p.m., the Caldwell Police Department said the previously reported "missing and endangered teen" had been found safely.

Caldwell police said on social media at 1:55 p.m. Wednesday that the 17-year-old was last seen at approximately 1 p.m. near the 1700 block of Arlington Avenue. They stated that officers were worried for the missing teens safety and asked the public for help in locating the teen.

In the post announcing the teen had been located, CPD thanked the community for their assistance. "Thank you to everyone who shared this post and sent in tips," the post read.
