Update: Bogus Basin Road reopened after fallen tree removed, lift lightning hold removed

According to Bogus Basin, the tree is removed, traffic is slowly moving forward and the lifts are running again.

BOISE, Idaho — The tree on Bogus Basin Road, which caused the road to temporarily close, was removed. 

On Tuesday, Jan. 9, officials from the Bogus Basin Mountain said on Facebook the road was temporarily blocked as a tree fell over the road. The tree has been removed and traffic is slowly moving. 

Susan Saad with Bogus Basin told KTVB in an email the tree fell around mile 14 and the road was blocked for about 10 minutes. Nobody was injured by the tree. 

The Basin lifts are running again after they were closed for potential for lightning
