BOISE, Idaho — A man is dead after he was hit by a car early Monday morning east of Kimberly on State Highway 50, according to Idaho State Police.
Police said a 53-year-old woman from Hansen was driving west on the highway in a 2010 Chrysler Town and County when she hit a 33-year-old man from Burley who was walking east on the highway.
The man died at the scene due to his injuries, police said.
According to police, the lanes of traffic were blocked for around three hours while first responders cleared the area.
Police are still investigating the incident.
