Twin Falls man killed in I-84 incident Idaho State Police are investigating as 'suspicious'

The incident happened near the Gowen Road exit in southeast Boise.

BOISE, Idaho — Idaho State Police are investigating what they are calling a "suspicious death" on Interstate 84 in southeast Boise. The Ada County Coroner on Monday identified the victim as 25-year-old Victor Lindsey of Twin Falls.

According to an ISP press release, a 23-year-old woman from Twin Falls was driving, with Lindsey as her passenger, the morning of Sunday, March 19, when the passenger "exited the vehicle while in motion." It happened at about 8:30 a.m. on eastbound I-84 near milepost 56, which is between the Broadway and Gowen Road interchanges.

Ada County Coroner Richard Riffle said in a news release Monday afternoon that Lindsey was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:40 a.m. Sunday, and that determinations of his cause and manner of death are pending.

Sunday's incident remains under investigation by ISP.
