BOISE COUNTY, Idaho — Idaho State Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened on Highway 55, south of Banks, on Sunday evening.
Police say the crash happened with 50-year-old Matthew Fletcher of Meridian was driving a 2002 Ford F-350 southbound on the highway and drove off the road and hit a tree.
Fletcher and a juvenile passenger were transported to Saint Alphonsus in Boise. A second juvenile passenger was also taken to Saint Alphonsus in Boise by air ambulance.
Katherine Fletcher, 48, of Meridian died from her injuries at the scene of the crash.
Everyone in the truck were wearing seatbelts.
The crash happened at about milepost 74, according to officials.
