12-year-old patient helps pick out truck for St. Jude drawing

Jack Bevan said the Ford F-150 was "really comfy" and had "a lot of good room inside."

BOISE, Idaho — A local St. Jude patient had a big job to do Wednesday morning.

Twelve-year-old Jack Bevan visited the Lithia Ford dealership in Boise where he was asked to pick out the truck that will serve as one of the prizes in the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway.

After scouring the parking lot, Jack ended up choosing a blue 2019 Ford F-150, courtesy of Treasure Valley Ford stores.

"I thought it was really comfy inside and I thought there was a lot of good room inside the truck. There's a lot of good cup holders inside," Jack said.

The truck was donated by all of the Ford dealerships in the valley.

The drawing for the truck, the St. Jude Dream Home and the other prizes will take place on Sunday, June 16.

We also wanted to mention that Jack is now two years in remission.
