TWIN FALLS -- A Hollister woman who was sentenced to jail and probation last year in the hit-and run death of a firefighter has been arrested again in a drug case.

Hollie Winnett, 34, is facing a new felony charge after a Twin Falls Sheriff's Office deputy found methamphetamine inside a camper at Winnett's home.

According to court documents, deputies and Winnett's probation officer found the methamphetamine, along with bongs and a small bag containing "a leafy green substance" during a search Wednesday.

Investigators say Winnett admitted the items belonged to her, telling the deputy she had used methamphetamine in the last day or two, and was 26 weeks pregnant. She was booked into the Twin Falls County Jail on a felony charge of meth possession, as well as misdemeanors for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Winnett's arrest came almost a year to the day after her sentencing in the death of 34-year-old Ryan Franklin of Twin Falls.

Franklin was cycling along 2900 North in Kimberly when he was hit by Winnett's Jeep in May 2016. Franklin, a firefighter and father of four, died at the scene.

Winnett kept driving, but later returned to the site of the crash. She told investigators she had fallen asleep behind the wheel just before hitting Franklin.

The driver ultimately pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter and leaving the scene of an accident, and was sentenced 90 days in jail and seven years of probation. She wept in court as she apologized to Franklin's family members.

Winnett is currently held on a $100,000 bond in the drug case. She's due back in court March 23.
