BOISE -- A Boise man was arrested after police say he stabbed another man during a fight late Sunday night.
Diamere Blount, 20, is facing a felony charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
Officers were called out to a hotel in the 2500 block of West Sunrise Rim Road at about 10:30 p.m.
Police say several people got into a disagreement inside a hotel room, and a fight broke out. Blount is accused of stabbing the victim, a 19-year-old man, once in the torso.
The injured man was taken to a local hospital, and is expected to survive his wound. Blount was found in a vehicle near Franklin and Maple Grove roads a short time later, and taken into custody.
The suspect was booked into the Ada County Jail, and is due to appear in court Monday afternoon.
