BOISE - Police officers have found the three siblings who were reported as missing and endangered Friday night.

The Boise Police Department says in a news release that the children were located at midnight, and are safe. The department did not say where they were found.

Their mother, Courtney Thomas, 26, is in the Canyon County Jail on a probation violation.

Just after 6:30 p.m. Friday, Boise Police put out a call for the public's help to locate Thomas and the children -- an 8-year-old girl, a 9-year-old boy, and a 6-year-old boy. Police said Thomas did not have primary custody of the children, but had picked them up unexpectedly from a caregiver on Wednesday. Police said that investigators believed the children were in danger of abuse or neglect.

Police also said Friday that Thomas and Thomas' boyfriend, 26-year-old Cody Williams, had been living out of a van, and that the children had not been to school for a week.

According to the Ada County Sheriff's Office arrest report, Williams was booked into the jail shortly before 2:30 a.m. Saturday on a charge of driving without privileges. He has since been released.

Boise Police continue to investigate, and have not said what charges, if any, Thomas or Williams will face in connection with the children.
