Margie Gannon appointed to fill Jordan's House seat

Gannon takes over for Paulette Jordan who resigned to campaign for governor.

BOISE - Idaho's Fifth District has a new representative.

Margie Gannon replaces Paulette Jordan, who stepped down to campaign for the Democratic nomination for governor.

Gannon lives in St. Maries where she has served on the city council and the school board.

She also filled in temporarily for Jordan in the Idaho House before Jordan decided to resign.

District 5 covers Benewah and Latah counties.

Acting Governor Brad Little announced Gannon's appointment this afternoon. Gov. Butch Otter is in Washington, D.C. today.
